As an event to celebrate IEEE PES Day 2024, this initiative will cooperate with Cardinal Operations to hold a technical seminar at Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) for PES members in Xi'an, China. The event invites industry and academic professionals to deliver keynote speeches regarding optimizer COPT & its applications in power sector, transportation electrification, co-optimization of power grid and transportation network. Three honored guests representing XJTU School of Electrical Engineering, IEEE PES China Chapters Council, and IEEE PES Xi'an Chapter, are also invited to deliver welcome speeches.
The theme of the initiative is Smart Energy Solutions: When Industry Meets Academia, which is consistent with the 7th edition of IEEE PES Day on the theme Empowering Electric Mobility Innovation. Through keynote speeches, interactive sessions, and discussions, the event aims to foster innovation and advancements in the academy and industry, while also promoting the PES's mission to be the leading provider of scientific and engineering information on electric power and energy for the betterment of society.
