This meeting is for EEs who are new to arc flash and experienced EEs who want to learn about new arc flash technology and best practices.

You will understand how to define the procedures and regulations for facilities and what often gets missed when calculating incident energy and arc flash boundaries. That information determines electrical components designed to minimize arc flash hazards and the personal protective equipment (PPE) per NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E. 

After the meeting, most people head over to The Powder Keg (right across the parking lot) for drinks and networking.

Andrew Gusev is an application engineer at Eaton in Houston who specializes in the following:

  • Calling on electrical engineers at consulting firms across the Houston, College Station, and Beaumont to assist with technical design and position Eaton products in a preferred position.
  • Providing support on major projects including submittal drawings and interfacing between the consultant and owner.
  • Working with institutional end users to gain promote Eaton products.
  • Conducting product seminars and training on Eaton products and solutions at consultant firms
