Josh Barklow
Industrial Relaying
Josh Barklow began his career in 1994 as an Electrical Technician and operator in the US Navy's Nuclear Power program. After his military service, he completed a BS in Nuclear Engineering Technology at Thomas Edison State University. He then joined GE in their Industrial Field Service Engineering department. There he was engaged in commissioning, testing, and upgrade projects for industrial power, automation, protection, and control systems. Over ten years, he held roles as an electrical engineer, project manager, and District Operations Manager. Josh next moved to GE's T&D substation division where he was lead engineer overseeing a four year program to upgrade PG&E substations for SCADA compatibility. Since late 2014, Josh has worked at MKI Reps as a Sales Engineer providing local representation of eleven electrical equipment manufacturers in Northern CA. He holds an Electrical PE in the state of CA.

Tom McQuilken
Industrial Relaying
Tom McQuilken received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Texas at Austin in 2008. After graduation, he joined the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) in Austin, Texas, where he designed relay and control prints and developed relay settings for transmission level infrastructure. In 2015, he joined Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories as a Protection Application Engineer in San Ramon, California. Tom has been a Professional Engineer (licensed in Texas) since 2011.
