WIE General Body Meeting
On 11th September 2024, the WIE IEEE Student Branch organized a meeting at 9:30 PM in the TV Room, Geeta Bhawan. The meeting focused on planning the upcoming webinar on *Artificial Intelligence for Smart Cities with Python* and fostering leadership among second-year students.
The discussion covered various aspects of the webinar, including selecting speakers, finalizing the date, and outlining strategies for promotion through social media and posters. Roles for hosting, technical support, and managing the Q&A session were assigned. Additionally, members brainstormed ideas for future events like workshops on Python programming and AI-based hackathons.
A significant part of the meeting was dedicated to encouraging second-year students to take on both technical and managerial roles within WIE-IEEE. Mentorship programs were introduced to guide students in leadership roles. The meeting concluded with clear action items and a sense of enthusiasm for the upcoming events, setting the stage for further community involvement and growth.
