On 2^nd October 2024, the IEEE Student Chapter of “ Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram” organized an online quiz competition focusing on the knowledge of IEEE and advancements in technology. The event aimed to foster enthusiasm for technology among students, test their understanding of IEEE's contributions, and provide an engaging platform to showcase their technical expertise.

The quiz competition was conducted virtually through Google Forms and was open to all the students of Electronics branch of 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd year respectively.

Event Rules:

Ø  The event was of two hours from 12:00PM to 02:00PM and their was a timer to monitor the time frame during quiz.

Ø  Their were 15 Multiple-Choice Questions(MCQs) which were to be answered through Google Forms.

Ø  The top 3 students who finished the round in the least amount were to be declared as winners.

Participant Engagement:

The event saw active participation from students across multiple disciplines. The participants appreciated the diversity of questions, which not only tested their knowledge but also encouraged them to explore IEEE’s contributions in detail.

The event was interactive and fun which had no pressure of winning on the participants . Overall it was a smooth experience for those who wanted to learn something new in an engaging way.

Event Feedback:

The feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. Students appreciated the diverse range of topics covered, the smooth execution of the online quiz, and the learning opportunity it presented. Many participants mentioned that the quiz challenged them to step out of their comfort zones and delve deeper into IEEE's technological contributions.

Conclusion:

The IEEE and Technology Quiz event was a great success, fulfilling its objective of increasing awareness of IEEE's role in the technological world while encouraging students to stay informed about cutting-edge technologies. The event helped students sharpen their technical knowledge, and the competitive atmosphere made learning enjoyable.
