Internal Smart India Hackathon 2024
The internal selection process conducted at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT) for student participation in the esteemed Smart India Hackathon (SIH). SIH is a nationwide initiative designed to encourage innovation and problem-solving skills among students, focusing on tackling challenges faced by the government and industry. In preparation for SIH-2024, MMMUT launched an internal selection, organized by IEEE-SB MMUT to identify the most creative and talented students to represent the university in the next stages of the competition. This event outlines the selection procedure, evaluation criteria, and the final list of students chosen. A total of 174 students (29 teams) participated, consisting of 55 female and 119 male students from various branches and semesters. The internal selection event took place on September 7, 2024, at the MMMUT campus.
