The main focus was the organization of the booth on IEEE Day at the university of jordan and strategies to attract new
recruits , the meeting agenda included :

1. Welcome and introductions
2. Ice-breaking activity
3. Discussion of first event: IEEE Day
4. Brainstorming booth ideas
5. Planning booth staffing
6. Strategies for recruitment at the booth

Activites Agreed Apon For The Booth

 Flyers: Informative flyers promoting IEEE WIE’s mission and benefits for new members.
- Board Games and Prizes: Fun and engaging games, with prizes designed to encourage and
inspire female students to join.
- Snacks: Simple snacks or appetizers will be provided to visitors as a welcoming gesture.
- Inspiration Board: A board highlighting great women from the region to inspire female students
to consider careers in engineering and technology.
- Stickers: IEEE WIE symbol stickers will be available for students to take.
- Women's Cancer Month Support: Since October is Women's Cancer Month, the booth will
feature pink ribbons and activities to show support and raise awareness for women's health.

Notes:
● The main focus was the organization ofthe booth on IEEE Day and strategies to attract new
recruits
● Members showed great excitementtowards our first event as a team and showed up with great
ideas.

Action Items :

1. Finalize Booth Setup: Review the items that have arrived from the online order to ensure
everything is ready for the booth.
2. Booth Staffing Schedule:
- Create a schedule assigning team members to specific time slots for booth duty during IEEE
Day.
- Ensure there are atleasttwo members present at alltimes to manage visitors and activities.
3. Booth Activities Preparation: Finalize the interactive activities or presentations atthe booth
4. Promotional Materials:Prepare promotional materials (flyers, handouts, or digital resources)
that highlight WIE’s mission and encourage new members to join.
5. Engage with Visitors: Develop a brieftalking scriptfor booth volunteers, focusing on how to
effectively communicate the benefits of joining IEEE WIE atthe University of Jordan.
