Bash Muhandis
The Electrical and Computer Engineering Society (IEEE), in collaboration with the Mechatronics Society, organized the "Bash Muhandis" event, which aimed to develop the skills of children aged 7 to 12 in various fields through innovative and fun methods. Through these workshops, students were encouraged to explore the world of science and knowledge through hands-on learning and scientific experiments. This was achieved by hosting around 100 children. The Electrical and Computer Engineering Society contributed with two workshops, one on electrical circuits and another on sensors. And the two Oher workshops done by the mechatronics society. Let’s not forget that competitions and entertainments activities were also organized for the children.
1-Electrical Circuits:
The workshop involved building electrical circuits using interactive toys that replicate real-world circuits, featuring components such as resistors, batteries, capacitors and electrical wires. To enhance understanding, a detailed PowerPoint presentation was provided, explaining the fundamental concepts of electrical circuits and the different types of electricity. This combination of hand-on learning and theoretical insight offered students an engaging and comprehensive introduction to the world of electricity and circuity.
2-Sensor Workshop:
The sensor workshop was also conducted by (IEEE) society. The general concept of how sensors function was explained, and the children were given the opportunity to assemble and understand the workings of both the touch sensor and the LED sensor.
