Introduction
The IEEEXtreme 18.0 programming competition, an annual 24-hour event, was successfully organized and provided platform at the Himalayan School of Science and Technology (HSST), Swami Rama Himalayan University, on the 26th of October, 2024 for IEEE Student Members of Himalayan School of Science and Technology. IEEEXtreme is a global coding competition where IEEE student members compete in teams to solve challenging problems over 24 continuous hours. The competition provided an excellent opportunity for students to demonstrate their problem-solving skills, collaborate in teams, and gain exposure to a global technical community.
Purpose of Organizing IEEEXtreme 18.0 at HSST
The primary goal of organizing IEEEXtreme 18.0 was to provide a platform for our students to showcase their technical and analytical abilities. This competition not only allowed students to explore diverse problem-solving strategies but also served as an opportunity to represent the institution on an international platform.
Teams Participated from HSST
Four dedicated teams from the Himalayan School of Science and Technology took part in IEEEXtreme 18.0, demonstrating enthusiasm, perseverance, and a spirit of competition. The participating teams and their proctors are listed below:
