Francesc Moll of Barcelona Supercomputing Center
Biography:
Francesc Moll (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electronic technology from UPC, in 1995. He is an Associate Professor with the Department of Electronic Engineering since 1997. His research career has been focused on reliability and robustness issues relevant to integrated circuit design, especially in advanced technology nodes, such as signal integrity and its impact, manufacturing variability, and ultra-low power and voltage circuits. He has design experience in various technology nodes such as 65nm, 45nm, 28nm FDSOI, and 22nm FDSOI. He teaches several courses using CAD of IC in the UPC Master in electronic engineering. He is an Associate Researcher with Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), where he leads the team on Synthesis and Physical Design of ICs. He has published over 40 papers in international conferences and journals, serving as reviewer in several international journals and has been invited as Keynote Speaker at different conferences.
