Benefits of writing and how to prepare for GATE 2025
On 22nd October 2024, Prof. Aniket Singha (ECE, IIT Kharagpur) and Avishek Chatterjee (EE, IIT Kharagpur) in association with the placement cell of Haldia Institute of Technology (HIT) delivered a 2 hour session at HIT in front of the 3rd and the 4th year students of Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (AEIE) to motivate them to write GATE examination. It was addressed to the students how the GATE examination opens up the path to higher studies and public service jobs They clarified to the students the exam pattern, syllabus, where to get question banks from, and how to prepare well for the exam. They also addressed many students' queries related to higher studies in premier Indian institutes. It is hoped that this will motivate and inspire students to appear in the GATE exam, perform well in the exam, and pursue higher studies and services towards the nation's public.
