NEED TO MONITOR ROTARY OR LINEAR POSITION?
THE FAQS ABOUT ENCODERS, RESOLVERS AND LIMIT SWITCHES.
Need a position sensor? This seminar provides answers the FAQs about choosing sensors for monitoring rotary or linear motion. Incremental or Absolute Encoder? Solid or hollow shaft? Resolution? What interface is required? For what applications should I use a resolver instead of an encoder? What is the purpose of limit switches and what do they do that encoders cannot?
This event is part of the IEEE San Diego Section's PDH series at the Del Mar Electronics and Manufacturing Show (Apr 23 - 24).
