Students from St. Mary's, Trinity, UTSA and TAMUSA will present the projects they have been working on this semester.   This is the completion of the first year of an NSF grant to study the effectiveness of interns working with IEEE mentors in a museum environment.    Members of the IEEE Lone Star Section LMAG were mentors for the student groups, providing technical and professional advice and assistance.

The presentations will include:
SCADA control of electrical distribution in a Lego city (St. Mary's University)
Drive Maze tabletop obstacle course for Sphero robots (Trinity University)
STEMphone - a giant cell phone with museum/science related information (UTSA)
Laser Light Show Console allowing museum visitors to safely operate a laser light show (TAMUSA)

Schedule:

8:30 AM - Welcome and overview
8:45 AM - Panels and key topics (Team discussions on projects and experiences)
     9:45 AM - Break
10:00 AM - Student Project Gallery (Teams will present at their exhibits)
   11:00 AM - Graduation - (Certificate presentations)

IEEE members are invited to come see what has been accomplished this year and hear plans for next year.   If you can't stay for the entire program, you are welcome to drop in for part of the time.  The Student Project Gallery from 10:00 AM to 11:00 would probably be the most informative.
