Miss Gabriella Shebly
Computer Science Major
Biography:
Gabriella Shebly is a passionate technology professional with a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. She is currently a System/Software Engineer at winTEC Solutions in Germany, where she works on developing and improving system-level software.
Her experience spans several areas of tech, including cybersecurity, AI, backend development, and IT support. Gabriella has worked as a Cybersecurity Intern at POTECH, an AI Intern at Webedia Arabia, a Backend Developer at XpertBot, and in IT & Network Support at Bulwarks.
Gabriella has also been an active member of the IEEE community for over three years, serving as both Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the IEEE ULFS-II student branch.

Miss Daniella Shebly
Electronics Major
Biography:
Daniella Shebly is a dedicated Doctoral Researcher pursuing a joint PhD between the Lebanese University in Lebanon and the University of Genoa in Italy, with a focus on Embedded Machine Learning. Her research explores how smart wearable systems can recognize hand gestures in real time using machine learning techniques.
She previously worked as a Coding and Robotics Instructor for children at BrightChamps and was an active member of the IEEE community.
Daniella has presented her work at international conferences such as IEEE ICECS and SIE (Società Italiana di Elettronica), and she collaborates with research groups to develop intelligent, real-time systems for use in rehabilitation, human-computer interaction, and beyond.

Mr Joey Demiane
Physics Major
Biography:
Joey Demiane is a PhD candidate in the Nuclear Science and Engineering department at MIT, focusing on plasma–wall interactions in thermonuclear fusion reactors. He previously earned a B.Sc. in Physics from the Lebanese University Fanar and an M.Sc. in Nuclear Fusion from Aix-Marseille University in France.

Miss Rita Arfoul
Mathematics Major
Biography:
Rita Arfoul has a background in pure mathematics from the Lebanese University, where she held the position of Chairperson of the IEEE Fanar Student Branch. She completed a Master’s degree (Master 2) in discrete mathematics and computer science at Aix-Marseille University. As part of her Master’s program, she conducted her research internship at École Polytechnique in Paris, working on Gröbner bases. She is currently a first-year Ph.D. student specializing in optimization and computer science.
