Nuts & Bolts + Senior Membership
Come learn about becoming a Consultant, operating your own practice, and tricks of the trade. In addition, learn about becoming a Senior Member of the IEEE (requirements, application, benefits, etc.).
This month’s meeting will be focused on professional development, and drawing upon our collective experience. We will start with a brief presentation on becoming an IEEE Senior Member (in anticipation of our upcoming San Diego Senior Member Upgrade event in October -tentatively).
This will be followed by an open discussion were we invite current and former consultants to form a panel to answer both prepared questions and questions from the group. The panel will be directed toward both technical professionals who are considering becoming a consultant AND already practicing professionals, to continuously improve our own businesses.
As ALWAYS, science/engineering students are very welcome to attend and engage (and it wouldn’t hurt to bring a resume).
