2025 IEEE Power & Energy Society General Meeting
The 2025 IEEE Power & Energy Society General Meeting was held on 27–31 July 2025 in Austin, Texas. This premier power engineering conference brought together practicing power engineers and academics from all over the world. The conference provided an international forum for experts to promote, share, and discuss various issues and developments in the field of electrical power engineering.
The session on chapter chair training provided a comprehensive overview of vTools for monitoring regional activities, as well as the use of Collabratec to connect with IEEE professionals worldwide. This was followed by presentations on MGA and MDI funding opportunities, highlighting how student branches can effectively leverage these resources. The program concluded with a segment on mentorship, emphasizing the role of professionals at various levels in guiding and supporting students across the globe.
