IEEE ComSoc/VTS Malaysia proudly supports Project Ideation Experience (PIE) 2025, a collaborative initiative by UTM and PPD Pontian to strengthen STEM and IoT education in Johor's secondary schools. Held at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FKE), UTM, the Train of Trainers workshop launched a 3-phase program focused on teacher empowerment, student innovation, and sustainable tech.

With the theme “IoT for Zero Carbon”, PIE 2025 aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting environmental awareness and digital literacy.

This module introduces the CDIO approach, guiding participants through idea generation, systematic design, implementation, and operational practices. The focus is on fostering creativity, problem-solving, and practical application to support effective project development in engineering education contexts.

Modul 1 Speakers
PM Dr Rashidah Arsad
Dr Noor Asmawati Samsuri

A total of 25 teachers, 5 STEM coordinators from 5 districts, and 6 UTM student facilitators are leading this transformation at the grassroots level. Congrats to all!
