Stephanie Clements – Bio
Stephanie Clements has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years. Her earlier career was at Cigna where she spent 20 years in Sales. While at Cigna, she served as a Team Leader, Trainer and Account Manager. As an Account Manager, she was responsible for:
- Managing relationships with insurance vendors, customers and consultants for successful renewal and profitable growth; sales and persistency goals averaged 90%; renewal discussions with brokers over financials and benefits to identify customer long and short-term needs; rating strategies to maximize business profits and renewal objectives in accordance with sales goals
- Implementing new products; conducted train-the-trainer meetings for staff (internal and external)
- Conducting employee orientations and annual open enrollment activities; developed and modified compliant benefit plans in accordance with State/Federal Laws.
Upon leaving Cigna (2003), she focused on the Small Group business as an independent broker/agent until 2008 when she entered the Medicare market. As a Medicare agent, she has helped family members, friends and retiring Cigna associates navigate the nuances of Medicare. Those relationships helped to foster the many referrals she continues to receive as a trusted advisor in the Medicare space.
