IEEE Day Celebrations 2025 - Inaugural Ceremony
The IEEE Day 2025 celebration officially launched on Saturday, October 11th, with the formal Inaugural Function (Hybrid Mode). The event commenced at 10:30 AM with the traditional arrival of guests and the lighting of the lamp. The welcome address was delivered by Prof. Chinmoy Kumar Panigrahi, Counsellor, IEEE KIIT Student Branch & Vice Chair, IEEE Bhubaneswar Section, followed by a video display showcasing the activities of the IEEE KIIT Student Branch. Shri Hare Krishna Ratha, Advisor, IEEE Bhubaneswar Section, gave an address, followed by Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT DU. The ceremony included the Felicitation of Guests and the Release of the IEEE Day Bulletin 2025.The insightful addresses continued with Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahu, Program Head (East), Outreach Office, NRDC (Guest of Honour), and an online address by Prof. Jangamshetti Suresh, Vice Chancellor, Haveri University (Guest of Honour). Prof. Saranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor, KIIT DU, also delivered an address. The keynote address was given by the Chief Guest, Swami Prem Anveshi, Founder and Leader of the Anveshi Foundation. The session concluded with the Vote of thanks presented by Ravindu (Student), Chair, IEEE KIIT Student Branch.
