1. Meeting Discussion

Introduction

• Axel Böttcher introduced himself.

Collaboration Opportunities

• Discussion focused on two key topics:

  • Identifying potential collaboration opportunities.

  • Exploring effective ways to collaborate.

Way Forward

• A follow-up meeting will be held within Alex Böttcher’s Society Chapter to continue discussions.

Chapter Activity

• The group reviewed the current level of activity within the chapter.

• It was noted that sustaining strong engagement is challenging without sufficient funding and support from IEEE CS and IEEE Germany Section.

• The chapter aims to increase collaboration and engagement with other groups.

2. AdCom De-brief

Chapter Board Service Duration

• Agreed on a two-year service term for board members.

• Action Item: Christof will contact Peter for more details regarding election procedures.

• IEEE vTools will be used to set up the election ballots.

Transition Planning

• Discussion on identifying resources and information that would be helpful during the board transition period.

World Technology Summit Participation

• Members will coordinate offline and present updates during the next meeting.

Next Steps

• Schedule follow-up meeting with Alex Böttcher’s Society Chapter.

• Continue discussion on World Technology Summit participation.

• Review election procedures once details are received from Peter.
