• Election conducted via vTools Voting.

• Election Committee (3 total):

  • 1 member from the current Board.

  • 2 members from IEEE Germany Section (incl. Chair).

• Nominations: 30 days

  • Opens: 27 Oct

  • Closes: 27 Nov

• Voting window: 2 weeks

  • Opens: 27 Nov

  • Closes: 11 Dec

• Eligibility date: 27 Nov (example)

Open Questions for IEEE Germany Section

• Is the 30-day nomination period mandatory?

• Conflict of interest: May a current Board member serve on the Election Committee if they intend to stand for election again?

Communication

• Email to IEEE Germany Section:

  • Request names of two committee members (incl. Chair).
  • Confirm rules on nomination period and committee eligibility.

• Request from IEEE Germany:
  • For the Chapter and Student Branch reports, we kindly ask you to include an outlook on your planned activities for 2026 as well as a corresponding annual budget (Further details will follow shortly).
