Training Workshop on Autonomous Vehicles
This is an in-person free event for anyone interested in learning about autonomous vehicles (AVs) to be delivered by a trainer from industry. It will cover the underlying technologies of AVs, such as vision and LiDAR sensors, artificial intelligence (AI), simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM), path planning and control, among others, through guided hands-on activities using programmable robotic car models. Knowledge of programming is helpful but not compulsory.
As spaces are limited by the number of AVs available, priority may be given to those who are IEEE Vehicular Technology Society (VTS) members. If you are already an IEEE Student member, add VTS membership for just US$1.00 to secure your spot in this event!
Light lunch will be provided to participants. Registration is required.
