Talk Abstract:
Quantum computing is rapidly redefining the boundaries of computation, opening possibilities for breakthroughs in climate resilience, healthcare, clean energy, and secure global communication. However, quantum capability alone is not sufficient. Integrating systems thinking ensures that these technological advancements lead to outcomes that are sustainable, ethical, and centered around human well-being.
This lecture will explore how viewing global challenges as interconnected socio-technical ecosystems enables quantum technologies to create transformative, long-term impact rather than isolated technical gains.
