Brief description of program:

The power grid is undergoing a transformation. Distributed Energy Resources are rapidly expanding, and load patterns are shifting, demanding a power delivery system that can adapt in real-time. The solution lies in building a flexible, scalable, and adaptable grid ready to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.

In this topic, we will explore how Digital Substations, powered by cutting-edge technology, are revolutionizing protection, control, and automation within the power grid. We'll compare this modern approach to traditional substation designs, highlighting the unprecedented flexibility, cost savings in engineering, installation, and wiring, and the dramatic improvements in operation and maintenance efficiency that digital transformation brings.
