IEEE Student Branch Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026
The IEEE Student Branch Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a mandatory governance event that brings together all registered IEEE Student Members of the MMUST Student Branch. The AGM serves as the primary forum for reviewing the Branch’s performance over the previous year, ensuring accountability, and setting strategic direction for the coming year.
During the meeting, the Executive Committee presents reports on activities, membership status, and financial performance. Members are allowed to review achievements, challenges, and lessons learned. The AGM also facilitates discussions on proposed plans, budgets, and major initiatives for the new operational year.
In accordance with IEEE Student Activities guidelines, the AGM includes the election or confirmation of Student Branch officers (where applicable), leadership transition arrangements, and the formal handover of responsibilities. The event ensures compliance with IEEE governance requirements and promotes transparency, member participation, and continuity of leadership.
