This email serves as a reminder and mandatory notice for the upcoming IEEE Richmond Section Executive Committee (ExCom) meeting, which is critical for the functioning of the Section in 2026. Please take your time to read completely.

 

 THIS IS A MUST-ATTEND MEETING FOR ALL VOTING MEMBERS.

The primary purpose of this meeting is to establish quorum and formally vote to finalize and approve the 2026 operating budget.

 If quorum is not achieved and the budget is not approved at this meeting, the IEEE Richmond Section will NOT be able to:

• Approve or process any funding requests

• Support chapter, affinity group, or student branch activities

• Conduct section-level programs or operations

This will directly impact the entire year of 2026.

For this reason, attendance is mandatory. You are receiving this communication because you are a voting member of the ExCom, and your participation is essential to ensure continuity of operations.

 Multiple reminders will be sent until tomorrow before the meeting.
