Code With Trust
The Code With Trust event was one of the most intellectually engaging and strategically designed competitions of R&D 2026. The event aimed to test not only participants’ coding abilities but also their coordination, communication, and mutual trust under pressure.
The competition was conducted in two structured rounds, each designed to evaluate different dimensions of teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Round 1 – Team Coding Challenge
In the first round, participants competed in teams and were provided with a set of coding problems of varying difficulty levels. The problems tested:
• Logical reasoning
• Algorithmic thinking
• Debugging skills
• Time management
Teams collaborated to solve as many questions as possible within the given time frame. Submissions were evaluated based on correctness, efficiency, and completion time. At the end of this round, the Top 8 performing teams were shortlisted and qualified for the final round.
Round 2 – Trust-Based Quiz Round
The second round introduced a unique and innovative twist to the competition. Each qualified team was divided, and the team members were seated separately. They were given a technical quiz consisting of coding concepts, logical puzzles, and analytical questions.
The challenge of this round was that team members had to rely entirely on their mutual understanding and trust. They could not directly collaborate in the usual manner and had to answer questions independently while maintaining strategic confidence in their teammate’s performance.
This round tested:
• Conceptual clarity
• Individual technical strength
• Team trust and coordination
• Decision-making under pressure
Throughout the event, participants demonstrated exceptional technical skills and teamwork. The dual-round structure ensured a balanced evaluation of both collaborative coding ability and individual competence.
The Code With Trust competition successfully combined technical rigor with strategic thinking, making it one of the most memorable and innovative highlights of R&D 2026. It reinforced the importance of both skill and trust in real-world software development environments, where coordination and confidence in teammates play a crucial role.
