Dia de las niñas en las TICs
To celebrate Girls in ICT Day, we are organizing a series of activities aimed at encouraging girls to explore opportunities in technology and engineering fields. These activities will take place in collaboration with several universities in Uruguay, including Universidad de la República (Udelar), Universidad ORT, and Universidad de Montevideo.
As part of this initiative, IEEE Women in Engineering volunteers will participate alongside the universities in delivering workshops designed to introduce girls to different areas of technology, engineering, and digital innovation.
The goal of these activities is to inspire young students, provide them with role models in STEM, and help create a space where they can explore their curiosity and potential in technology-related careers.
