Context
Artificial Intelligence is increasingly transforming learning, research, and professional practice across many fields, including higher education and healthcare. Students and professionals are now using AI-based tools for information search, writing support, data analysis, decision-making, and communication. However, using these tools effectively requires not only technical awareness, but also the ability to formulate relevant prompts and to understand the ethical issues related to accuracy, bias, privacy, and responsible use. This workshop is therefore intended to equip undergraduate and Master’s students, medical students, and health professionals with practical knowledge and essential guidance on Artificial Intelligence, prompt engineering, and ethics.

Objectives

  1. To introduce participants to the fundamentals, uses, and opportunities of Artificial Intelligence in academic and professional settings.

  2. To strengthen participants’ practical skills in prompt engineering for more effective and relevant use of AI tools.

  3. To raise awareness of the ethical principles and responsibilities involved in the use of Artificial Intelligence.

Target Audience
Undergraduate students, Master’s students, medical students, and health professionals.

Expected Outcomes
By the end of the workshop, participants are expected to:

  • Understand the basic concepts and major applications of Artificial Intelligence;

  • Be able to write clear and effective prompts for common academic and professional tasks;

  • Be familiar with key ethical concerns related to the responsible use of AI tools.

Format
Interactive workshop including presentations, practical demonstrations, and hands-on exercises.
