For our June meeting, we are happy to welcome Karthik Bojja from Wolters Kluwer to come speak on AI Automation

Presentation:

In today world DevOps is no longer just about automating pipelines or speeding up deployments. It is evolving into something much smarter. With AI integration, we are moving toward systems that can learn, adapt, and respond autonomously.

In traditional DevOps, when something breaks, teams rely on alerts, logs, and manual intervention to fix issues. With AI-driven automation, failures can be predicted before they happen. By analyzing patterns in logs, metrics, and system behavior, AI can identify anomalies early and either alert the team or automatically trigger remediation steps.

This leads to the concept of self-healing systems. In a modern cloud environment, if a service goes down, the system can automatically restart it, reroute traffic, or roll back a faulty deployment without human intervention. This reduces downtime and improves overall reliability.

AI also enhances observability by turning raw data into meaningful insights. Instead of just monitoring systems, teams can enable intelligent decision-making within the pipeline.

Combining DevOps with AI shifts organizations from reactive operations to proactive and predictive systems, allowing teams to focus more on innovation and less on troubleshooting.

As with all of our meetings, we will be providing lunch. If you do not pay online beforehand, we will not be purchasing lunch for you. Please reach out if there are any issues with payment and we will try to figure it out prior to the meeting. In my experience, Paypal is the easiest and has had the least issues in the past.

Excited to see everyone on the 16th!
