3^rd Annual General Meeting of the IEEE IAS Student Branch Chapter- National Institute of Technology-Rourkela (SBC65821A) was held on Friday, 21^st January 2026 in offline mode.

 The following resolutions were made in the meeting:

• Welcome Address by SBC Advisor & SBC Chair

  • Dr. Monalisa Pattnaik, PES & IAS SBC Advisor has welcomed all the members to SBC. She has congratulated all members on confirmation of the executive committee at NIT Rourkela for the year 2026.

•  Confirmation of the Executive Committee for the year 2026.

  • During the meeting, it has been unanimously decided to elect the Office Bearers and Executive Committee Members. The following members have been elected to ensure the effective and smooth conduct of Student Branch activities for the said year. It was also resolved that Dr. Monalisa Pattnaik will be relieved of the role of Branch Advisor, and Dr. Manoranjan Sahoo has been appointed as the new IAS SBC Advisor with immediate effect. It was further noted that the tenure of the Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and Webmaster stands extended until 31 December 2026.

•  A general discussion on activities of the previous and the current year:

  • All the members jointly proposed several future activities that can be carried out by the Student Branch as follows:
    

    a.        Conducting workshops, quizzes, competitions, seminars, conferences and webinars etc.

    b.       The meetings and events to be uploaded in IEEE vTools on a regular basis to keep track of the activity details as and when required.
