Hello Capital, Metropolitan Area IEEE Members, The Washington–Northern Virginia Engineering in Medicine and Biology Chapter along with our cosponsors invite you to attend a free tour of the Integrated Pharma Services (IPS) laboratories, hosted by Dr. Mina Izadjoo, Chief Science Officer, and her staff. IPS is a woman-owned, award-winning contract research organization in Rockville, Maryland, recognized for scientific excellence and innovative research supporting the development of therapeutic and diagnostic products.

Tour IPS Bioengineering Laboratories
Abstract
IPS’ unique scientific expertise and customized approach for each client result in high-quality scientific data and insights that support improved and accelerated product development. IPS has established a strong scientific reputation and proven performance record in providing the research data necessary for advancing candidate therapeutic and diagnostic products.
During the tour, IPS staff will discuss their technology pipeline and research initiatives, including microbiome-based solutions, bacteriology, virology, immunology, and tissue culture. as well as novel therapeutics targeting phase-based and penicillin-resistant infections.
Biography:
Dr. Mina Izadjoo serves as President and Chief Science Officer of IPS. She earned her Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from Louisiana State University (LSU). Her distinguished career includes leadership positions as Director and Chief Science Officer of Triddeum Biosciences; Director of Diagnostics and Translational Research Center for the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine; and Division Chief of Wound Biology and Translational Research at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology.
