The IEEE CEDA Student Branch Chapter, Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT), in association with the IEEE CEDA Bangalore Chapter, is organizing an IEEE CEDA Distinguished Talk titled “Physical Design: From Past to Future” on 3 July 2026.

Prof. Ricardo Reis is a renowned researcher in the areas of physical design automation, design methodologies, fault-tolerant systems, and microelectronics education. He has contributed extensively through more than 750 publications, including books, journals, and conference proceedings. He has held several leadership positions in IEEE and international organizations and has received prestigious recognitions including the ACM/ISPD Lifetime Achievement Award and IEEE CASS John Choma Educational Award.
