2027 IEEE Fukuoka Madhya Pradesh PELS Chapter Workshop (FMPW) is a joint workshop organized by the IEEE PELS Fukuoka Chapter and the IEEE PELS Madhya Pradesh Chapter.
The workshop provides a forum for researchers, engineers, students, and industry professionals to present and discuss recent developments in power electronics and related fields. Topics include, but are not limited to, power converters, power semiconductor devices (Si, SiC, and GaN), renewable energy systems, energy storage systems, electric vehicles, motor drives, wireless power transfer, smart grids, microgrids, EMI/EMC, thermal management, and AI/ML applications in power electronics.
The workshop will be held in a hybrid format at Fukuoka University, Japan, on August 5, 2027. Accepted papers will be presented at the workshop, and conference proceedings will be submitted for publication in IEEE Xplore, subject to IEEE requirements.
The workshop aims to promote technical exchange and international collaboration between researchers and practitioners in Japan, India, and other countries.

Scope:

General topics in IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) and related areas. The topic of interest includes but not limited to power converters, power semiconductor devices (Si, SiC, and GaN), renewable energy systems, energy storage systems, electric vehicles, motor drives, wireless power transfer, smart grids, microgrids, EMI/EMC, thermal management, and AI/ML applications in power electronics.

Field of Interest: 

The workshop covers general topics in IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) and related areas, including but not limited to:

- Power converters and switching techniques

- Power semiconductor devices (Si, SiC, GaN)

- Renewable energy and energy storage systems

- Electric vehicles and motor drives

- Control, modeling, and simulation of power electronic systems

- Wireless power transfer and high-frequency applications

- Smart grid and microgrid applications

- EMI/EMC and thermal management

  • AI/ML applications in power electronics

Instructions for Authors:

IEEE FUKUOKA MADHYA PRADESH PELS CHAPTER WORKSHOP F2027 invites full-length original research contributions from researchers, professionals from industries, R&D organizations, academic institutions, and government departments worldwide.

Manuscripts not exceeding six (6) pages in IEEE double column format are accepted. Papers must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

Submissions must be made electronically via the CMT portal  (Microsoft Research). All submitted manuscripts undergo rigorous peer review.
