Lightning Arresters presented by Hubbell
Engineers from Hubbell will present on the following
• Theory behind arresters
• MOVs (manufacturing process)—heavy focus on MOVs.
• Sizes and how to determine which to use for which projects.
• Overview of the total design and how they should be correctly utilized and installed in the field.
• Total offerings for Distribution, Transmission and Substation.
Pre-registration is required for security purposes. Event consists of a social lunch from 12:30-1:30 with the presentation beginning at 1:30 PM. Eligible for 2 hours of PDH and CEUs. Asking for a donation of $5-10 per person towards lunch, taken day off as cash.

Biography:
Territory Manager for Hubbell for the last 4 years. I oversee National Grid, Central Hudson, NYPA, Avangrid, Rhode Island Energy and all public power in NY. Prior to coming to Hubbell in 2022, I worked at National Grid for 14 years in the Transmission Commercial Services team, where I oversaw all transmission (115kV) interconnects within Grid’s territory for wind, solar and transmission driven projects.

Product Manager of Hubbell's surge arrester BU. Mechanical Engineering graduate from Clemson University. Has been an application engineer for over 5 years, covering technical training, customer specification review, and VOC for the arrester business unit.

Mechanical Engineering graduate from Clemson University. Application engineer for Hubbell's arrester business unit since February. Will be the Point of Contact for any product class of arrester for the Northeast region.
