Five-Day Faculty Enablement Program – IMPACT 26
As part of the Five-Day Faculty Enablement Program – IMPACT 26 (Innovative Methods in Pedagogy, Assessment, Competency and Teaching), the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of P.A. College of Engineering organized an inspiring session titled "The Subconscious Edge: Unlocking Peak Teaching and Learning" on 23rd June 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Multi-Purpose Hall. The session was delivered by Dr. Surfraz J. Hasim, Psychologist, Mind Trainer & Coach, and Principal of P.A. First Grade College, who served as the resource person for the second day of the faculty development program. The objective of the session was to help educators understand the influence of the subconscious mind on teaching effectiveness, learning behavior, emotional intelligence, and personal growth. Drawing upon principles of psychology, neuroscience, and human behavior, the resource person explained how subconscious beliefs, attitudes, and thought patterns shape classroom interactions, decision-making, motivation, and student engagement. The session emphasized the importance of cultivating a positive mindset, self-awareness, resilience, and emotional regulation to create a conducive learning environment that fosters creativity, confidence, and academic success. Faculty members were introduced to practical strategies such as positive reinforcement, effective communication, visualization techniques, stress management, and mindfulness practices to enhance both teaching effectiveness and student learning outcomes. Through interactive activities, real-life examples, and engaging discussions, participants gained valuable insights into overcoming limiting beliefs, strengthening interpersonal relationships, and promoting a growth mindset among students. The session also highlighted the significance of empathy, motivation, and psychological well-being in developing learner-centered classrooms that encourage active participation and holistic development. Faculty members actively interacted with the resource person by sharing experiences and discussing challenges encountered in academic settings, making the session highly engaging and reflective. Overall, the session provided a unique blend of psychological insights and practical teaching strategies, enabling participants to better understand the role of the subconscious mind in education while equipping them with tools to enhance classroom effectiveness, student engagement, and personal well-being. The session significantly contributed to the objectives of IMPACT 26, reinforcing the institution's commitment to faculty empowerment, innovative pedagogy, and excellence in higher education.
