The IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) – VNRVJIET, in collaboration with the Student Activities Committee (SAC) & RAS , IEEE Hyderabad Section, IEEE VNRVJIET Student Branch, and the Departments of ECE, EIE & CSE–R&I, is organizing a special session:

IEEE RAS Day 2026 – Awareness, Opportunities & Innovation in Robotics and Automation

The session aims to create awareness among students about Robotics and Automation, the opportunities offered by IEEE RAS, emerging technologies, research avenues, career pathways, and innovation in the field.

 Speaker:
Ms. Mounika SakhiNeti
Vice Chair – IEEE RAS Hyderabad Section
Founder & Director – RoboTech LLP

Ms. Mounika Sakhineti is a robotics entrepreneur, educator, and technology enthusiast with a background in Electronics and Communication Engineering and a Master’s degree in Embedded Systems, specializing in Robotics.

She has been actively working in the field of Robotics and Automation, developing innovative products including a social humanoid robot and a smart wheelchair integrated with a robotic arm. Through her entrepreneurial journey, she has successfully secured Government of India grants of around ₹60 lakhs for robotics research and product development.

Currently, she is associated with JNTUH as a Guest Faculty. Passionate about robotics, emerging technologies, innovation, and entrepreneurship, she is committed to inspiring students and young innovators to transform their ideas into practical, impactful, and real-world solutions.
