SERVE & SUPPORT — IEEE YP UTAH FOOD BANK VOLUNTEER DAY
Many Hands Make Light Work!
Join IEEE Young Professionals at the Utah Food Bank for a hands‑on volunteer shift focused on supporting our local community. During this 90‑minute warehouse session, volunteers will help sort donated food, assemble food boxes, and prepare meal kits that go directly to individuals and families in need.
Warehouse Volunteer Activities (Ages 12+) Volunteering in the warehouse includes:
-
Sorting and organizing incoming food donations
-
Filling boxes with food that will be distributed throughout the community
-
Assembling food kits for home‑delivery programs
-
Supporting general warehouse needs as directed by Food Bank staff
This shift is fast‑paced, collaborative, and a great way to make a meaningful impact in a short amount of time.
We also encourage all volunteers who are able to bring non‑perishable food items to donate. Every contribution helps strengthen the Food Bank’s ability to serve our community.
Thank you for your time and willingness to serve — we look forward to seeing you soon!
Attendance is limited to 15 volunteers. Please RSVP to reserve your spot.
