A hands-on STEM innovation experience where women students design, build, and present technological solutions with the support of IEEE WIE volunteers and university faculty mentors.

TechHer Innovation Lab: From Ideas to Impact is a hands-on STEM and innovation experience designed to encourage women students to explore engineering, technology, and problem-solving through practical learning. Participants will work in teams to identify real-world challenges and develop technological solutions using tools such as Arduino, sensors, electronics, programming, and 3D printing. The activity will take place in university laboratories with the support of faculty mentors and IEEE WIE volunteers. Participants will receive guidance throughout the design and prototyping process, allowing them to transform their ideas into functional prototypes. The event will also include technical mini-workshops, collaborative challenges, mentoring, and a final presentation where teams will showcase their solutions. Through this experience, participants will strengthen technical, creative, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. The activity will also provide an opportunity to connect students with IEEE WIE members, faculty, and women in STEM. The event aims to inspire participants to continue exploring STEM careers and become actively involved in professional and technical communities.
