As part of the Season School on Chemical and Biochemical Sensors organised by CMC2 comunitee, an IEEE Day Celebration will be organized on October 15, 2026, bringing together students, researchers, academics, and industry professionals working in the field of sensor technologies.

The program will feature an interactive round-table discussion dedicated to the key performance parameters used to evaluate chemical and biochemical sensors, including sensitivity, selectivity, stability, response time, limit of detection, reproducibility, and long-term reliability. This session will provide participants with an opportunity to exchange perspectives, discuss current scientific challenges, and explore future directions in sensor research and development.

The event will also celebrate IEEE Day, which recognizes the global IEEE community and the spirit of collaboration that connects IEEE members around the world. Participants will learn more about IEEE activities, technical societies, professional development opportunities, and the mission of IEEE to advance technology for the benefit of humanity.

This event will be open to both IEEE members and non-IEEE members, providing an inclusive environment for networking, knowledge sharing, and engagement with the IEEE France Section and the broader scientific community.
