IEEE R&A ECNS chapter is honored to begin 2017 with the appreciation of our own IEEE fellow Mr. Roger Lawrence. Mr. Lawrence is a veteran in the industry with five decades of automation experience in electrical engineering and associated multiple areas of science and technology. Based on his valuable contributions and extraordinary accomplishments in AC drives and other technologies, Mr. Lawrence was awarded IEEE fellowship. Mr. Lawrence also has published many IEEE and technical articles. We also appreciate Mr. Lawrence’s entrepreneurship initiatives providing specialized engineering services in science and technology, thus leading by example for future generations.

During our session on Feb 06 at centennial, Mr. Lawrence will walk through his invaluable insights associated with the automation technology evolution during the decades of his experience, technical aspects of a few projects involved, challenges and moments of cherishment.
