Booth at the XXXIII Electrical and Electronic Engineering Conference
During the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Days at the Escuela Politécnica Nacional (Ecuador), the IEEE Student Branch set up an information stand to promote IEEE and its opportunities for students. The stand was managed by both student volunteers and current board members, who actively participated throughout the event. They provided information about IEEE’s mission, membership benefits, technical and professional resources, student activities, and the different technical chapters available at EPN.
This year, the Faculty granted our Student Branch a dedicated space to showcase IEEE, in recognition of the activities we organized during the event—including bringing a Distinguished Lecturer to campus for an in-person session. Thanks to this support, we were able to present and highlight the impact of IEEE, project our initiatives, and share our ongoing efforts to strengthen the academic and technical community at EPN.
Visitors received guidance on how to join the Student Branch, how to participate in ongoing projects, and how IEEE can support their academic and professional growth. Many students stopped by the stand, asked questions, and showed interest in upcoming IEEE initiatives, workshops, and volunteer programs. The activity helped increase the visibility of IEEE within the faculty and encouraged student engagement in future events.
